Thanks be to God again and always, for allowing a season as such to be filled with purpose in him! His way is the only way we’d be able to embrace, enjoy, live, and conquer in it. Lord we cherish your ways and your thoughts towards us, for we understand your plans are for the good and not of evil.
Every time I turn around, the Singles in the body of Christ somehow run across my mind. It has to be the trials, the thoughts, the attacks, and struggles we somehow encounter on this journey. Either way, I relate. Most days at this point, I am more grateful for the victories the Lord has brought me to and the others I’ve seen on this journey. I guess when you think about it, we are supposed to be concerned for one another. We are a body, and speaking of, we ought to be concerned when someone is experiencing pain or torment, especially if it’s a brother or sister.
When loving the Father, you start to experience genuine love for the siblings too. Why you ask? Simple, just like the siblings or relatives you grew up with. You shall relate in the spirit for the same. My heart goes out to the many I meet, and the ones I begin a relationship with at my local church. I know we might not speak everyday or see one another but it’s the Fathers love that tugs when you know, your hoping “my brother or sister is doing well” today. In this next passage, God revealed to me, he has promises for us and I thought, no need to keep this to myself, Lord please open the ears of your children and bless them with the good news you gave me:
“But now listen, Jacob, my servant,
Israel, whom I have chosen.
2 This is what the Lord says—
he who made you, who formed you in the womb,
and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,
Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,
and my blessing on your descendants.
4 They will spring up like grass in a meadow,
like poplar trees by flowing streams.
5 Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’;
others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’
and will take the name Israel.”-Isaiah 44:1-5
Sounds like and is, our Father in heaven has something to say. He talks freely about “us” in the womb, and how he formed us. I tell you, God doesn’t make it confusing to know, he is talking to us about some major promises of blessings. The Lord is awesome, and his love is for his children. He wants us to know his love for us hasn’t changed and his thoughts aren’t either. Making him Lord over everything is allowing him to open up and give more and more when you turn from the wicked of this world. Now he knows we struggle, it’s the fact that we have to let go of old things, and ways, just to receive the new. Let’s read about how the old effects the new, in terms of mixing them together:
Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.-Matthew 9:17
Listen family, what I am writing you today is what the Father is pouring into me. We have to do better as Christian singles, it’s our walks that reflect Christ. This is about being the vessel he called you to be, yes out of darkness we came. Now it’s a decision we have to make and when something is freely given to you, most would take it and be so grateful for it. I know there are people that want what you have and those people are friends, family, associates, co-workers, neighbors, strangers, and etc. Do you get what I am saying, the only God they know is the one you confessed as Lord. If you know someone who needs to be encouraged on this journey, bless them with his word and begin interceding on their behalf. At times we don’t know how to ask, but if you see the struggles, don’t wait for a fall, get your Christ spirit and get to action by prayer and supplication we will stand for one another!
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.-James 5:16
The atmosphere is ready and the heavens are waiting for the effectual prayer to go up saints, I encourage you to believe with me, that Christian singles will stand on the word of God when it looks, feels, and seems like things won’t work out but…
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.-Hebrews 13:8
Father we thank you for the season, and life we are living through you. We ask Father, for all Singles in the body of Christ to stand on your word, to speak your word, and sharpen their knowledge in you with your word. Keep each of us in your bosom, away from the pestilence that walks this earth, the enemies disguises, deception, and decoys. Lord we ask that you open our ears to hear your voice only, and our eyes to be opened to what you have need of us to see. Lord we thank you so kindly for the brothers, and sisters that labor with us. We know you positioned us for such a time like this. We pray we also operate accordingly to what you have called and expect us to be. May others see our walk and know to give you glory by the fruit we bare. Thank you and bless your name, for there is no name above your name, In JESUS name, AMEN.
